The Vibration Risk Assessment is an obligation of the Employer and must be implemented in cases where activities involve the use of equipment that transmits vibrations to the hand-arm system (HAV) or to the whole body (WBV) of the worker.
The vibration risk falls within the assessment of professional exposures and more specifically takes into account:
- Hand-Arm Vibration (Vibrazioni mano-braccio)
- Whole Body Vibration (Vibrazioni a corpo intero)
The vibration risk assessment service related to mechanical vibrations offered by AGE web solutions, through its qualified technicians, consists of consulting for Vibration Risk Assessment by identifying all sources of mechanical vibrations and determining the levels of exposure to vibrations that workers are subjected to. Article 202 of Legislative Decree 81/08 states that the assessment of vibration risks can be carried out either through the use of information available from the manufacturer of a specific machinery and/or from accredited databases (ISPESL), or through measurements, in accordance with the measurement methodologies prescribed by specific ISO-EN standards.
If the limit values are exceeded, the HSE software and the consultants of AGE Web solutions will prepare an improvement plan that summarizes the measures to be taken to reduce the risk. Such measures may also consist of modifying the equipment in order to comply with the limits.
In addition, each customer will also be provided with a software license called “Vibration Risk” which allows the customer to automatically update, over time, the document created by AGE web solutions consultants.
