The Video Terminal Risk Assessment service offered by AGE web solutions, through its qualified technicians, consists of consulting for the evaluation of the Video Terminal Work Risk, checking the working conditions and equipment, as well as any technical and organizational improvement measures.
The assessment of risks from work at video terminals (pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08) is an obligation of the Employer and must evaluate the risks associated with the use of equipment equipped with video terminals, analyzing the workstations with particular regard to:
- the risks for vision and for the eyes
- the problems related to posture
- the problems related to physical or mental fatigue
- the ergonomic and hygiene conditions of the environment
Following the risk assessment, the employer is required to undertake specific prevention and protection measures for video terminal workers.
Through the HSE software by AGE web solutions, the employer has access to a checklist with all the obligations to be met regarding this type of risk, particularly concerning electronic devices, the obligation to make the necessary interruptions or changes in activities during working hours.
Furthermore, along with the calculation and assessment of VDT risk, each client will also be provided with a license to use the software called “VDT Risk” which allows the client to automatically update, over time, the document created by AGE web solutions consultants, namely the DVR Work at the Video Terminal.
