Cookie policy

This cookie policy aims to specifically illustrate the types, methods of use, as well as to provide guidance on actions to refuse or delete cookies present on the website, if desired.

What cookies are and how they are used

Cookies are text strings sent by a web server (e.g., the site) to the user's Internet browser, which are automatically stored on the user's computer and automatically sent back to the server on each occurrence or subsequent access to the site. By default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. The websites of AGE web solutions S.r.l. with a sole shareholder use or may use, even in combination with each other, the following categories of cookies, divided according to the classification proposed in the Opinion 04/2012 regarding the exemption from consent for the use of cookies issued by the Working Group under Article 29 at the community level:

  • of "session" that are stored on the user's computer for mere technical-functional needs, for the transmission of session identifiers necessary to allow safe and efficient browsing of the site; they are deleted at the end of the "session" (hence the name) with the closing of the browser. This type of cookie avoids the use of other computer techniques that could potentially harm the privacy of users' browsing;
  • “persistent” cookies that remain stored on the computer's hard drive until their expiration or deletion by users/visitors. Through persistent cookies, visitors accessing the site (or any other users using the same computer) are automatically recognized on each visit. Persistent cookies fulfill many functionalities in the interest of surfers (such as the use of the browsing language, etc.). However, persistent cookies can also be used for promotional purposes, etc. Visitors can set their computer's browser to accept/refuse all cookies or to display a warning whenever a cookie is proposed, in order to evaluate whether to accept it or not. The user is enabled, however, to change the default configuration and disable cookies (i.e., block them permanently) by setting the highest level of protection.

These two types of cookies (session and persistent) can in turn be:

  • of "first part" when they are managed directly by the owner and/or manager of the website (e.g. AGE web solutions S.r.l. sole shareholder)
  • of "third party" when the cookies are set and managed by entities external to the website(s) of AGE web solutions S.r.l. with sole shareholder.

How cookies work and how to delete them

The operating methods as well as the options to limit or block cookies can be made by changing the settings of your Internet browser. You can also visit the site (in English) www.aboutcookies.org for information on how to manage/delete cookies based on the type of browser used. To delete cookies from the Internet browser of your smartphone/tablet, you need to refer to the device's user manual.

The cookies used by the websites of AGE web solutions S.r.l. with sole shareholder

www.agews.com and all the websites (and sub-sites/domains) directly related (e.g. demo.626suite.com, www.626suite-online.com, etc.) use both "session" and "persistent" cookies.

As stated in point 1), cookies can be session and persistent as well as third-party. The latter fall under the direct and exclusive responsibility of the entity that ultimately manages/processes them (such as Google Inc.) and not of AGE web solutions S.r.l. with sole shareholder. Third-party cookies are typically divided into the following macro-categories:

  • Analytics: these are cookies used to collect and analyze statistical information about access/visits to the website. In some cases, when associated with other information such as the credentials entered for access to restricted areas (your email address and password), they can be used to profile the user (personal habits, visited sites, downloaded content, types of interactions made, etc.). For example, to obtain aggregated statistical information useful for evaluating the use of the website and the activities carried out by the visitor, it stores the information collected by the cookie on servers that may be located only in the EU.
  • Widgets: this category includes all those graphical components of a program's user interface that aim to facilitate user interaction with the site itself. By way of example, Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn cookies are Widgets, etc. Further information on privacy and the actual use of the cookies themselves can be found directly on the websites of the respective entities that ultimately manage/process them (e.g. Google Inc., Facebook Inc., etc.) and not of AGE web solutions S.r.l. with sole shareholder.
  • Advertising: this category includes cookies used for advertising within a site. Google, Tradedoubler, etc. fall into this category, for example. Further information on privacy and their use can be found directly on the websites of Google, Tradedoubler, etc.
  • Web Beacons: this category includes all code snippets that allow a website to transfer or collect information through the request of a graphic image. Websites can use them for various purposes, such as analyzing website usage, monitoring and reporting on advertisements, and personalizing advertisements and content.
