A special Christmas gift
It is with great joy that we announce that this year, instead of giving Christmas gifts to our valued customers, we have chosen to donate the amount in support of the National League for the Defense of the Dog - Rovigo Section.
The National League for the Defense of Dogs is an association founded in 1950 by the writer Piero Scanziani, and today it has 69 sections and 11 territorial delegations in 17 Italian regions; most of these manage kennels and shelters thanks to the commitment of over 2000 volunteers. This important organization is dedicated to the protection of the life and well-being of animals of all species, in particular, it focuses on the protection of stray dogs, providing them with care, safe shelters, and the opportunity to find a new family.
Stray dogs in Italy are a serious problem: it is estimated that there are over 700,000 stray dogs in our country, a situation that requires concrete actions. In this, shelters play a fundamental role: in addition to providing a safe refuge, they offer medical assistance, training, and the opportunity to interact with people, promoting socialization and improving adoption prospects.
The donation we made to the Rovigo section – geographically close to our headquarters – is our contribution to ensure veterinary care, adequate nutrition, and responsible adoption programs for these four-legged friends in need.
