The values of rugby

Rugby Rovigo Delta won its 14th championship title on May 28th at the Lanfranchi Stadium in Parma, securing victory in the final against Petrarca Rugby!

We are particularly proud of this victory by a team we have been collaborating with for a long time.

But why did we choose rugby?

As a team sport, rugby teaches many important things that can also be applied in the world of work.

First of all, the collaboration: the entire team must work together to gain possession of the ball and score points, each player has a specific role but everyone must be able to communicate and support each other during the game.

Furthermore, respect: players must respect the decisions of the coach and the captain, but also between the two opposing teams, the competition does not transcend respect - and the "third half" represents this value well.

Finally, rugby is an activity that enhances commitment and sacrifice: from dedication in training to behavior during the match, where individual interest does not matter but the result of the team does.

As announced in the fall, AGE web solutions and Rugby Rovigo Delta for the 2022/2023 sports season have promoted a scholarship dedicated to university students who are also players of Rugby Rovigo Delta or affiliated clubs (e.g. Badia Polesine, CUS Ferrara, Monselice, Este, Villadose, Frassinelle).
