In structured business realities characterized by the presence of "work groups" (that is, multiple access profiles), it is necessary to define precise approval processes for the documents created (both in the case of the initial issuance of the documents and in the case of their revision).
Within the AGE Suite and the Integrated Management System, there is a software module that allows the Client to define their own validation and electronic distribution paths. To validate documents (and also make them legally valid), it is necessary for each designated corporate entity to affix their digital signature. To this end, AGEws has introduced a range of biometric digital signature hardware devices that fully comply with Art. 1, Head I, Section I of Legislative Decree 235/10 (Digital Administration Code) which came into effect on January 25, 2011.
BIOMETRIC DIGITAL SIGNATURE DEVICES
Each device has a unique certificate for electronic signature (with a 2048-bit RSA private key) through which the internal data acquisition unit securely signs the document being processed. The 2048-bit certificate also allows for the signature to be reliably attributed, in case of verification, to the device with which it was created. Furthermore, a GMT timestamp is automatically associated by the device itself to the data acquired during the signing process using a precision clock (internal and non-manipulable). The transfer of data from the device to the PC/Server hosting the documents to be signed occurs via encrypted communication using a 256-bit precision AE256 algorithm.
NOTE: the device fully complies with Art. 1, Head I, Section I of Legislative Decree 235/10 (Digital Administration Code) regarding the section related to "advanced electronic signature."
