Manual Handling of Loads

The risk assessment for Manual Handling of Loads is an obligation of the Employer and must be implemented not only for lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, but also for so-called repetitive movements or repetitive actions.

LIFTING and CARRYING - ISO 11228-1 (NIOSH)

The module allows for the assessment of manual handling conditions of loads (single, multiple, and mixed) through the use of UNI ISO 11228-1 (NIOSH method) with the automatic calculation of both the Recommended Lifting Weight (RLW) and the Lifting Index (LI).

PUSHING AND PULLING ISO 11228-2 (SNOOK AND CIRIELLO)

The module allows the assessment of the conditions for manual handling of loads for horizontal transport in the case of pushing or pulling using the UNI ISO 11228-2 (Snook and Ciriello method).

HANDLING OF LOW LOADS AT HIGH FREQUENCY ISO 11228-3 (OCRA)

The module allows for the analytical assessment of the risk associated with the manual handling of low loads at high frequency of the upper limbs through the application of the standard UNI ISO 11228-3 parts 1 and 2 (OCRA method).

MOVEMENT OF LOW LOADS AT HIGH FREQUENCY ISO 11228-3 (OCRA CHECKLIST)

The module allows for the analytical assessment of the risk associated with the manual handling of low loads at high frequency of the upper limbs through the application of the standard UNI ISO 11228-3 (CHECK-LIST OCRA method).

STATIC WORKING POSTURES

The module allows for the assessment of ergonomic risk due to static work with no effort or with minimal external effort on the part of the worker, as established by ISO 11226.
